​Hollywood Home Entertainment (HHE) is an award winning, full service production company that specializes in historic documentary programming. Founded in 1984 in Los Angeles CA, the company has created programs for broadcast and cable television networks, international corporations and advertising and public relations agencies.​ The HHE team has worked closely with the Department of Defense to create and produce a series of nationally broadcast PSA's (Public Service Announcements) commemorating the 50th anniversary or World War Two. HHE producers Thomas S. Perry and Will Williams are proud members of the American Legion family in Tucson.


Thomas S. Perry


Mr. Perry is an experienced producer and director who has created, produced, and directed theatrical and commercial productions. The Discovery Channel aired his eight-hour series "Frank Capra The War Years" and RCA Columbia distributed the video worldwide. New Line Cinema distributed his video collection of Frank Capra's "Why We Fight" series and Vision International released his 26-hour series "Hollywood Goes To War" to a worldwide audience. "Hollywood Goes To War" was also aired by PBS and American Movie Classics. As a producer and director Mr. Perry has won a number of awards for his work including a C.I.N.E. Golden Eagle for best social documentary "A Far Cry from Yesterday". "Huichole People of the Peyote", narrated by Ricardo Montalban, won Arizona's Bicentennial Film Commission Award for best documentary and finished second at the American Film Festival for best ethnographic documentary.

Will Williams


Will Williams is a media specialist skilled in video and audio production, content creation, project and product management and digital analytics. Born in Richmond VA, he attended Kent State University with a major in photojournalism and went on to establish himself as a freelance photographer covering the music and auto racing scenes. He successfully migrated from still photography to film, video and television in the early 80's as a shooter, editor, and director. From local TV shows, big budget corporate videos and national ad spots, Will moved to Los Angeles and cable network programming with a producer-editor spot on Hollywood Home Entertainment's "Frank Capra's the War Years" for Discovery Channel. He continued with HHE and the 26-hours series "Hollywood Goes To War". Will moved from there to produce a series of long-form music TV concerts including the first commercial HD rock concert "Peter Frampton Live In Detroit".

​Phillip Gessert

A veteran filmmaker since 1975, Mr. Gessert began his career in Scottsdale Arizona. By 1978 he owned Montage, one of the largest film companies in AZ specializing in postproduction.  In 1984 he relocated to Los Angeles as a commercial editor for national network spots and was quickly nominated for a Cleo for his advertising work. Editor of music videos for artists like MC Hammer, Tina Turner, Barry White, Robbie Robertson, Robert Plant, En Vogue and many more, Mr. Gessert expanded his client list to include a wide variety of TV shows on MTV, ABC, and NBC. Including his work as producer and editor of the award winning documentary feature "American Songwriter",  Mr. Gessert has worked on over 2,500 feature, television and documentary projects with such famed actors as Robert Altman, Martin Scorsese and Ted Post. Mr. Gessert currently lives at the historic Cochise Hotel in Cochise Arizona.

George Wood
Associate Producer/Online Project Manager

George Wood has worked closely with Thomas Perry and Will Williams for over 25 years. Mr. Wood is the Associate Producer and Online Project  Manager for “Arizona Heroes Of WW1”. Mr. Wood is a multiple award winning producer with 35 years of media and business development experience. He created, produced, hosted and syndicated the groundbreaking television show FLIGHTS OF FANTASY and syndicated it nationally to 141 television stations and 3 satellite networks while generating 72 million views and 9000+ subscribers to his You Tube channels. As a Business development consultant, George has developed and implemented online sales strategies for AT&T, Bank of America, Capital One, Forex, American Express and other Fortune 500 corporations. George has served for the past 5 years as the President and Chairman of the Board of Bowie Community Media Corporation and is currently active in broadcast media production, program development and management.

​Tim O'Grady

After completing his degree at Illinois State University, Mr. O’Grady started providing professional services to a wide variety of corporate clients. His experience in all aspects of video, film and television production has made him a sought after talent for documentary, studio and live events nationwide.
Derek Marshall

Graphic Design
Born in Upstate New York, Derek Marshall relocated to Tucson in 2002 to study Art Education at the University of Arizona. Along with teaching Photography and Video Production to high school students in Sahuarita, Arizona, Derek provides professional graphic services to a variety of corporate and entertainment companies.

John Barrow

Voice Talent
John Barrow has been the voice behind hundreds of documentaries, TV and radio commercials, and corporate videos for over 20 years. His voice has been heard on productions for major networks including History Television (CANADA), CNBC and numerous Fox and ABC affiliates across America. He also operates
world-voices.com, an agency that provides translation and voiceover recordings in numerous world languages.

Eugene Bergeman

Internet Technology Consultant and Graphic Design
Mr. Bergeman has been involved in Internet Technology and graphic design since the mid 1990's and has been managing successful
websites (including e-commerce) for many years. He has been involved with companies such as Intuit, UPS, Alorica, Faith With Works Publishing Company, The River Internet Connection and AA Back to Basics in capacities ranging from programming, technical support, technical support management, customer service, website design and implementation, and IT consultation.

David Toma

Marketing Director 
Mr. Toma brings over 40 years of entertainment industry experience to H.H.E. including production, post-production, distribution,
content acquisition and business development. Mr. Toma has held executive level positions across the entertainment industry including television, feature film, digital media and mobile smart phone application and publishing. David is the recipient of The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences EMMY Award. David has been a valued member of H.H.E. for over 30 years providing support to the company as a writer, producer, post-production supervisor and distribution consultant.
